A new interactive touchpoint enhancing audience engagement.

Touchpoints
Designed an AI-powered interactive touchpoint for the Venice Biennale
For the Venice Biennale, an artist engaged me to design an interactive touchpoint that could expand the experience of the work and strengthen the bond between visitor and installation.
My proposal was to integrate a modified SIP phone, capable of activating-when the handset is lifted-an immersive audio track. The goal was to introduce a more personal and sensory narrative dimension, enhancing the interaction within the installation context.
I took care of the strategic direction and sound design, developing a track via artificial intelligence that combines female voice and Venetian soundscape. The technical part was carried out by an engineer I involved, while I supervised the testing to ensure consistency and experiential effectiveness.
Key contributions
- Design and implementation of an interactive physical installation as a functional extension of the main work.
- Development of an original, AI-based generative audio system to create a dynamic sound environment.
- Integration of multiple sensory components (visual, sound, tactile) to build a structured narrative.
- Management of the technical coordination and supervision of all testing phases to ensure system stability and functionality.
